Professional Supervision

Professional Supervision for Clinicians, Managers, Coaches

Supervision focusses on the issues supervisees bring to supervision. It is confidential, relational, and  values the relationship between supervisor and supervisee. The purpose of supervision is to facilitate reflective practice, develop realistic self evaluation, increase scope of practice, integrate theory into practice, encourage evidence based research, explore values and beliefs, ethical issues, promote a multidisciplinary orientation, develop critical reflective skills, maintain standards and promote a professional orientation.

Professional Clinical Supervision, individual and group, is provided for clinicians, registered nurses and counsellors, managers, working in community, residential and inpatient settings.

Professional Supervision, indivual and group, is provided for Coaches who want a confidential space to discuss and reflect on coaching challenges, and develop professionally. Supervision is not mandatory for coaches but some consider it best practice as it provides coaches with an opportunity to increase their ability to work within the ICF or other professional organisations competency framework, develop critical reflective practice and facilitate the integration of theory into practice.
